More Info
This location was used as the entrance only, to Santa Rosita State Beach Park in the 1967 Stanley Kramer comedy, 'It's a Mad, mad, mad, mad world'. In the movie, a large amount of money was buried underneath a 'W' of palm trees situated in the park.
The Actual park was and still is a private residence in Portugese Point, Palos Verdes, and the frontage to that building was replicated here at Peck Park to film the scenes of the characters arriving in their cars and running through the gateway.
