This is 'Sycamore Gap' on Hadrian's Wall. Used as a location in the film 'Robin Hood Prince of Thieves'
This location was the setting for one of the early scenes in the film where Robin Hood (Kevin Costner) rescues a boy who has climbed a tree to escape capture by Guy of Gisburn.

A wonderfully scenic place. About a 30 minute walk from the nearest car park but well worth the walk.
