This building was used as Dana's Apartment building in the movie 'Ghostbusters'. And the church next door can be spotted in the scene where the 'Mr Staypufft' Marshmallow man climbs on top of it to get to the top of Dana's building. In the movie, the top of Dana's apartment building was given a different roof by use of CGI to give it a more Gothic look.
