This is the Guildhall In Lavenham Suffolk. A huge Tudor building. This building was used as the Harry Potter Family home in 'The Deathly Hallows' Pt 1. It's not very recognizable in the film because the fictional village of Godrick's Hollow where the potter house was located, was a set built at pinewood studios, and this building in Lavenham was super-imposed digitally. They also made it look like a ruin by digitally removing the roof to make it look as though the property had been damaged by a fire. But none-the-less, it's a great building to visit, as is the town itself. It has a great collection of Tudor buildings and some great pubs. Well worth a visit.
